Obituary of Judith Smart

At dawn on Sunday, June 4, 2023, the Lord came for Judy. At the age of 70, after a long and difficult life, filled with many challenges, she was finally called home. Dear sister of Lynda Majoros, Nancy Majoros and Debbie Majoros. Fondly remembered by her nephew Robbie Majoros and his family. Predeceased by her mother Zita (née Desjardins).

The family would like to thank the staff of Parkwood Mennonite Home for their exceptional care of Judy in her final years. 

The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & RECEPTION CENTRE 827 East Main St., Welland on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, from 12:00 p.m-1:00 p.m. An intimate chapel service will begin at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In accordance with Judy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In memory of Judy and her love for animal’s, donations made to the Niagara SPCA and Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
