Obituary of Angela Wilson

Obituary It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden death of Angela (nee Pizzati) Wilson at her residence on March 3rd, 2019 at the age of 68. Cherished mother and best friend of Sherri Lee (Dan Richard). Adored grandmother of Emily and Sara. Dear wife of Raymond Wilson and his sons Michael, David, John and Paul. She leaves behind her siblings Joseph (Janet), Josephine and Neddy her sister-in-law Bonnie, Godson Todd, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Peter and Margaret (nee Porcaro) Pizzati, sisters Mary and Lucy and brothers Vince and Frank. Angela was born and raised in Welland and worked various jobs throughout her life. (also volunteered) She was a kind and caring woman, always putting everyone's needs above her own. Angela was a dedicated mother and loved her role as Nonna. Not only to her grandchildren, but to all their friends. Angela embraced every moment spent with them. She loved to cook and in her spare time write poetry to her friends & family. Always remembered – never forgotten. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME on Monday, March 11, 2019 from 9 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart & stroke Foundation will be appreciated by the family.
