Obituary of Daniel Charles Bacon
We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Daniel Bacon at the Welland Hospital, on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Monique (née Labbé) for 33 years. Cherished father of Andrea Campbell, Daniel Bacon Jr, Tammy (Flavio) Blasioli, Carrie (Rick) Tworyczuck. He will be sadly missed by his 5 grandchildren; Amelia, Cyrus, Brayden, Logan and Nicholas. Dear brother of Roy (Terry) Asselin, Bonnie (Benny) Foschini and Wayne Bacon. Predeceased by his parents Malcolm & Margaret Bacon and his 2 siblings; Ronny and Kenny.
Dan was a creative and hardworking man. He enjoyed wood working and cooking and had a deep love and appreciation for music, boating and fishing. Dan loved to socialize and spend time with friends and loved ones. A special thank you to the kind and patient staff at Royal Rose nursing home.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE. Keeping with Daniel’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Memorial donations to Diabetes Canada or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
