Obituary of Leslie Joseph Mogyorody
Leslie passed away peacefully at the age of 82. Leslie will be greatly missed by his wife Agnes (nee Witkowski), his son Michael (Melissa), stepdaughter Lindsay Mooney (Ryan), and his sister Marlene Baiton (Bill). Cherished Grandfather of Alexis and Jancen. Forever in the hearts to his niece Chrissy Upwards and great niece Melisa (Cary). Predeceased by his parents Helen and Leslie SR Mogyorody and his nephew Mark Baiton.
Leslie was born in Welland and moved to Port Colborne where he built his house and lived for 45 years. Leslie enjoyed archery, spending time with his friends, relaxing, watching wrestling, tinkering with different projects, and spending time outdoors.
Leslie was a very hard-working man who enjoyed partnering with his friends on multiple business adventures including an insolation company and heavy equipment operations. He later finished his career working for the Port Colborne Quarry.
Les was very talented and able to fix anything that needed to be fixed. He built his own house in the late 70’s, repaired his Mack truck, and any other machinery that broke down.
Les’s kindness was shown throughout the years as a hardworking man who would help his friends and family with anything that needed to be done. Leslie was a loving husband and amazing father who did everything for his family.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE. As per Leslie’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
