Obituary of Rita Godbout
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our loving mother Rita Godbout (née Tardif) at Foyer Richelieu on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Robert Godbout (2020). Cherished mother of Diane Walsh (David), Doris Colavecchia (David), Janet Rodrigue (Richard), Céline Rodrigue (Daniel), Joanne Berger (Daniel). She will be missed by her 8 grandchildren; Allan, Brian, Eric, Tiana, Kyle, Denis, Raymond, Chantal and many great-great grandchildren. Dear sister of Roger Tardif, Suzanne Grondin (Bertrand) and Nicole Jacques (Gaëtan). Predeceased by her parents; Romeo & Adrienne Tardif (née Lessard) and her siblings Jean Claude, Donald, Réjean Lina and Huguette.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & RECEPTION CENTRE 827 East Main St., Welland on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Église du Sacre-Coeur on Thursday, August 3, at 11am. Internment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. If desired, donation Fonds Foyer Richelieu would be appreciated by the family.
