Obituary SÉGUIN - Hélène ''Goddess'' 1946-2019 At the NHS- St. Catharines Site on March 1, 2019 with her daughter Alisha and her dear friend Jo Ann Murray by her side, Hélène Séguin died peacefully at the age of 72. Adored mother of Alisha (Adewale). She devoted 18 years to her soulmate Don Gibson and his children; Mandie and Brandon. She will be missed by her grandchildren; Kyriel, Azrielle, Remi, Kade, Hailey and Noah. Dear sister of Gérald (Cécile), Lilianne Rusin (Joe), Jeannine Séguin (the late Albert Girard), Doralice Doucet, Ursule Garant (the late Tom Teather), Françoise Dubé (Arnold), Desneiges Séguin, Marcel (Thérèse) and brother-in-law Armand Gervais. She will be fondly remembered by godson Chris Séguin, her goddaughter Terri Séguin and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Onis and Marie-Ange, her brother Albert and her sister Florianne Gervais. Hélène was a talented and humble artist. With the help of her art classes at Gloria Kingma Art Studio, she created many beautiful pieces of art which are not only displayed in her home but also in the homes of many. She loved her family and travelling by motorcycle with Don on their many bike runs. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main Street, Welland on Thursday, March 7 from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday, March 8 from 12:30 p.m. until the funeral service in the chapel at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation by cheque to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.
