Obituary of Thelma Beaudoin
Mary Amelia “Thelma” Beaudoin (née Huneault) passed away peacefully Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the age of 86. Lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years, Normand G. Beaudoin. Cherished mother of Ronald (Francine) Beaudoin and Lynn (Scott) Leishman. Proud grandma of; Sheena (Guy) Vachon, Ryan (Hollie) Beaudoin, Nicole (Steven) Roy, Eric Leishman and Sarah (Josh) Leishman. Forever in the hearts of her great-grandchildren; Luc Vachon, Anna Vachon, Charlie Roy, Scarlett Roy and Ella Beaudoin. She will be missed by her sister-in-law Jean Huneault, many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by her siblings; Adele (George) Newburg, Juillette (Louis) Lamoureaux, Alice (Jim) Potter, Rudy Huneault, Phillip (Heather) Huneault, Jacqueline (Robert) Smith, Rita (John) Zang and Luicille (Joe) Brkljacic, as well as her sister-in-law Jackeline Faucher.
Thelma was born in North Bay on June 1, 1937. Thelma enjoyed going to bingo and doing puzzles. She truly loved decorating at Christmas and displaying her many villages.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE. Following Thelma’s wishes cremation has taken place, and a private family ceremony will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Niagara would be greatly appreciated by the family.
